...Cologne without the Cathedral?

Unthinkable.

And wouldn’t Germany, Europe, the world be much poorer and lacking a gigantic cultural monument without Cologne Cathedral?

Thank God: It exists, the "High Cathedral at Cologne".

But only, because we exist: the Central-Cathedral-building-Society of Cologne (ZDV).

The ZDV is not just an association, but a strong “WE” of 11.000 people – sort of a Giant-Family, whose first members united in 1842 aiming for only one goal:
To finally complete Cologne Cathedral, which has been standing half-finished since 1530 and to look after it for all time.

Families are strong communities:
In 1880 the Cathedral was completed – and it stands without blemish
to this day.

We make sure that it remains that way.
