What we do

Wherefore does the ZDV actually expend all the organisational, personnel, material and temporal effort, to bind almost 11.000 members and to enthuse anew Cologne Cathedral fans and to admit to the family?

Very simple: ...so that Cologne Cathedral stays with us!  ("...damit der Dom uns bleibt!")

For the ZDV-family this goal signifies virtually “eternal life”:
The never-ending story of Cologne Cathedral’s preservation devours
millions each year. And from a present-day perspective it will remain that way till doomsday.

Such being the case we must fairly and duly endeavour in order to master this Herculean task each and every year anew.
