What we have accomplished

Cologne Cathedral is our cup of tea.

 

That means two sorts of things: First: without ZDV’s founding family – there was no Cologne Cathedral. Only because a group of committed and farsighted citizens originated the “Central-Cathedral-building-society” („Central-Dombau-Verein“ - what is was called at the time), because they had been asking and demanding, organising and fighting for decades, only because of them the Cathedral-torso of 1530 could finally be finished over 300 years later.

Secondly: always new “descendants” of ZDV-founders provide for the preservation of Cologne Cathedral since – to this very day, since a strong ZDV-family counts nearly 11.000 members.
